God gave us a gift to share with everyone,

A gift kept in our hearts with warmth felt like the sun,

When opening our arms, our gift flows out with love,

From a simple embrace showered from above,

And what this gift may give is so very great,

It gives the loving feeling from one to another embraced,

It shows someone we care that they mean so very much,

So many feelings shared through one special touch,

No words need to be spoken for all is said,

With one precious hug between two friends.
